Alex McNish, executive director for Treasure Valley Community Television, and Boise Co-op board member, loves the movies -- especially ones that present a woman's perspective on life and the world. This means that Alex is going to be one very happy woman on April 9, when Lunafest, a festival of short films "by, for, and about women", comes to The Flicks in Boise. In this interview, Alex shares the story of Lunafest, and a local organization she is involved with, Reel Women of the West, that shares the film festival's goal of bringing more women into film making.
